In Defense of the Red Mage: Being a Connector in a World of Experts

I’m not an expert. I know quite a lot about quite a lot of things, but I really don’t consider myself to have “expertise” in any one specific discipline. I’m more of what you would consider a “red mage”.

The folks who come to web developers with ideas on how they want to launch “world class websites” and have them be on the first page of Google now need to make certain they have the means, budget, and resources to generate solid content and keep up with the workload. Otherwise, they have little or no chance of true success.
